It's interesting to note that we still have not had a vix spike over 30.

I sure thought the fear telegraphed prior to the open would've resulted in a spike.

Perhaps the stocks are in stronger hands and there is subtle buying power by institutions that supports the lighter volume that this market can only cough up.

As in past dips - the market remanis subtle.

All in all - I'm thinking it is a much healthier market today vs a year ago.
