another gold point to disagree on... still no gold views

I used to teach myself, publish a little, so what?
I find the topic of gold fascinating and very misunderstood
full of politicized views, ignorance, and assumptions

just trying to understand your views
and finding no satisfaction
my original message to you was an invitation
refused, Jim

thanks, but just one added factor addressed -- trade debt

it aint about supply, never has been
even in previous spikes
I believe the Supply Argument is the Great Gold Myth
it is about heightened demand periodically over the ages
that is precisely why I address its many other factors
excess supply did not explain the 1980 spike

but if that exhausts your limits, fine
stop by anytime and share your wisdom, appreciated

seriously, Zeev, thanks for sharing thoughts, I didnt dig
your thread is very interesting, many bright people
its volume overwhelms me sometimes when trying to find certain topics
you may have addressed gold issues many times over the months
my lack of digging is no proof of lack of your shared views

politics and fear are two interesting factors for gold
one keeps it down
one sends it up
but imho Central Banks are left with few weapons besides
TALK

they can surely continue to drain their gold reserves
but they did that all thru the 1990's
and like cowards, they did it secretly and collusively
probably illegally via gold leasing
now that the public and Congress is shining lights on them
I dont think they will continue to unload tons of gold
just look at the firestorm in England's Exchequer now
poor Eddy might be impaled in Trafalgar Square

curious your reaction to "Gold Mines Exposed"
I found it surprising, despite being pro-Gold
have a good weekend
/ jim
