Bear, my great difficulty is that everyone seems to have him convicted in their minds.

I don't know what the facts are and neither does anyone else. Meanwhile the guy is being railroaded right into jail, possibly for a very long time.

It strikes me that the law is being applied very unevenly. That FBI database must leak all over the place every day. If any info did come from there, it was only a small piece of a much larger research project.

Why is this leak such a big deal over all other leaks? Because maybe he profited while also harming the bad guys? Because he sent money to Lebanon? What if he sent the money to Brazil? Would we be in the same place?

If he is guilty, there are thousands of other people who are guilty of much worse crimes - but i don't see their assets being seized without trial and I don't see headlines and I don't see law enforcement resources going there.

We are witnessing an outrageous injustice. Is he guilty of crimes? I don't know. But even if he is guilty of some of them, the law is being applied disproportionately against Tony.

My sense of justice has been insulted.

Peter
