You are a victim of your own convoluted logic.

If, as you claim, the 2nd amendment should apply to all citizens instead of those in a 'well-regulated' militia, then they should have access to all arms necessary for that militia. Thus, they should have access to the aforementioned modern militia weapons.

What language in the 2nd amendment specifically allows you to have, say, hand guns and not Stinger missles?

As you said, all or nothing.
