It really helps to have a diverse mixture of sources for your information imo. That is why I try to listen to all opinions. I try to watch a little of each of the major news networks. I listen to left wing as well as right wing talk radio. Some of them are a little hard to take occasionally, but I do get a balanced perspective that way. I have a friend that has been watching the same news channel every nite for 33 years. We can't have a deep conversation because she has allowed herself to be brainwashed by one opinion. Everything else to her is a lie. M

'Sponge Bob Square Pants'.! Why have he and his buddy, Gary become so ubiquitous of late. I had never heard of him before last week when my friend called and sang me the theme song. I was at Borders today and he has books...in the children's section as well as adult, a Sponge Bob philosophy book. What does it all mean?

Filling the 'Angry White Males Wishing For a Return To The Fifties Emulating Peter Finch From Network' niche, no doubt. I'm LOL! Kevin. As if returning to a time when you did'nt have to lock your doors everynight, when government had some sort of credibilty, (The Buck Stops Here was the 50's) I'm sure your more comfortable with the BJ's aren't sex and lying and destroying victims lives to save your own skin is acceptable behavior. I'm okay with silly little notions like personal responsibility, self-sufficiency, and responsiblility to community. Meanwhile YOUR Leftslanted media outlets have lead the charge of the moral decay we find ourselves in. Although you may not see a moral decay. You may like porn on every street corner, rampant teen sex, school shootings emulating the latest video games, unprecedented corruption on Wall Street and Washington, abortions doled out like candy, kids being shipped off to day care in record numbers. I could go n but what's the point? I'm sure you have the blame for all of the above fixed squarely on Bush's shoulders, with the help of ABC of course. So go right ahead and joke young man. You can even feel comfort in knowing you are probably in the majority. Take comfort in your....averageness.
