As long as it doesn't say which god we're trusting in, I guess I have no big problem with "In God We Trust." If it said "In Christ We Trust," or "In Mohammed We Trust," or "In Vishnu We Trust," then I'd be disturbed.

Even so, it does leave out the atheists and some others (e.g. animists).

Not everyone thinks of God as a given. There are many agnostics and atheists, as well as alternative-religions.

Also, many non-Christians associate the word God with the Christian version. They do not accept that it is a generic term meant to include their deity or belief of choice.

Interesting. Why were you offended by the Ramadan poster? Non-Christians have been subjected to the Christian religions for years and years. I'll bet most non-Muslims didn't even know Ramadan existed before.
