Ground Zero, let me pick up on your train of thought from where you left off and I quote ".....I'm sure you know as well as it is common knowledge that the Hamas receives money from Syrian and Iraqi sources that are directly linked to Al Qaida..."

My point is that we are so obsessed with the Israeli problem, that we stop at the Hamas situation and start to view it in isolation. My view is that this is part of a grand design where core terrorist organizations that you mention fund terrorists activities. And that also includes the funding of the terrorists in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. And if that problem in KAshmir is not taken care of now, then consequences will be very devastating for humankind.

The Western intelligence has always been very apprehensive to the possibility of the Osama types getting possession of nuclear capability. The Hamas does not possess that. But some elements in the Pakistani government do and they can trigger a nuclear holocaust with the drop of a hat.

I agree with you that this is a thread to discuss Palestine. But do you seriously think that in today's world you can consider anything in isolation? Should we talk about Kashmir, facts and history on another thread? Should we talk about Chechnya, facts and history on another thread. Should we talk about, Abu Sayyaf, facts and history on another thread. I don't think so. They are all interconnected.
