Oh, but that is an unusual occurence actually. And assuredly was NOT the case in the instances in which you made the "Outside Agitator" charge. AND: you have never received a PM from someone containing a link to a current conversation? Really?

Having been assumed to be a member of two or three different gangs of people, I can report that I rarely received a call to arms, summons for help, or any other such link to a contentious thread. I believe that people think that happens all the time, but that it happens rarely. Simply stated, most people have bookmarks for threads they follow, and they jump in when they feel the urge. A significant rise in the numbers since last visited usually indicates a disagreement. It is pretty easy to imagine many different scenarios that bring others back to a thread.
