Mohammed had 12 wives, the youngest of which was 9 years old. ::)) BTW, thank you for those PMs. We now have several valid contributions to humanity by Islamic peoples: 1) Ottoman [F. ottomane, from ottoman Turkish.] A stuffed seat without a back, originally used in Turkey. 2) "Mother of . . " - phrase popularized by Saddam Hussein has achieved popularity in western lexicon. 3) Shish-kabob - this one is debatable. I suspect that this favorite food was invented by creative middle eastern peoples B.M. - before Mohammed.
