Sound analysis, Zeuspaul.

Spinning through my mind is the question: How long can a presidency based on bellicosity last?

How long until the American people realize that not everything can be blamed on terrorism?

Zeuspaul,

I beg to differ. Which pretty much sums up my economic plan after a few more Bush years.

Re: Bush ignored the California energy situation

Factually incorrect. On April 16, 2001 Ken Lay visited the Creep Veep and they conspired to do nothing, nothing at all about modifying the Administration's "free market" theology (that came later with steel, softwoods and sorghum). On April 17th, Cheney came out in favor of non-intervention in the CA power market. Bush wasn't ignoring California. He was giving it a "good sweating" because of their audacity in voting so heavily for Al Gore. That California's woes would turn into a crisis was part of Bush's scheme to pay some mighty fine dividends to Kenny Boy.

Re: He ignored the middle east and it turned into a crisis.

He's never ignored the Middle East, he let it spin out of control so that our intervention in the region remains inevitable.

Re: He is ignoring the American economy

Wrong. He is transforming the American economy. Getting back to rewarding the same companies who cleaned up in the Reagan years.

Re: He is clueless about terrorism.

Wrong. He is a master terrorist. Just look at how he controls the agenda in the media. They're lapdogs for his dog and pony show on wetback al Quada hoodlums with a convenient "patsy" tattooed on their forehead. Bush got two full days of above the fold coverage with this stale story. That's masterful terrorization. Don't kid yourself.

Re: It is an attack on American foreign policy for which he is responsible..

Which one? The one that is the public myth, or the real foreign policy like the hegemonic expansion envisioned by Zbigniew Brzezinski in "The Grand Chessboard"? He's fulfilling "America's Manifest Destiny" theme on a global basis. This is our true foreign policy. That nothing is foreign. It's all ours to own and exploit.

re:"Bush ignored the California energy situation and it turned into a crisis."

You should know, that was an incorrect statement. The fact of the matter, is that California was in full crisis, by the time the Bush Administration was sworn in. I believe that California, is one of the reasons the Bush Administration gave (coming into office), when they stated that they expected the U.S. to go into recession (as I recall, the Democrats complained that the incoming Administration was "talking down" the economy and bringing on the recession).

If you have followed the CA situation, you would also know that Governor Davis sent letters to President Clinton (before the Democratic Convention) and the FERC (then with a Democrat as Chairman, and a Democratic majority of 4 to 1)complaining of market manipulation; and that the CA market was, in fact broken.

By the time the Bush Administration came into office, pollution credits (that many power plants needed to purchase to continue operation in CA) added as much as $250/MWhr.

Zeuspaul,
It usually takes several idiotic posts to get on my ignored list. This one was so full of falsehoods you made it in one shot. Don't bother to respond as you have already been added to the list of useless idiots on ignore.
