rob- I'm wondering what significance, if any, you attach to KDDI's 1X rollout results to date, and the high uptake of 1X in Korea. Maybe scales cover my eyes, but wherever 1X has been deployed it seems to do quite well.

Also, while the 2g CDMA uptake in China has been poor, there seem to be very good explanations for that, and they are unrelated to 1x. Do you believe the 2g uptake in China has any relation to the outlook for 1X in China, and if so, why?

Thanks for your input.

Rob,

re: desperation time...
Quoting yourself is not an effective technique in debate. It didn't work for Ayn Rand and it sure doesn't work for you.

China has a large command aspect to its economy, if the government decides it is in China's interest to see CDMA succeed, it will.
