Agreed. If the numbers are to be believed then the national willingness to try the plan is obvious. Let's hope their execution and support of this plan are top notch, because they're going after a notoriously fickle segment, the retail consumer.

Meanwhile, WHAT a day in the market! Jeeez...the Dow...first it's down 40. Then it's up 40. Then it's back down 20. Then it recovers back to minus 6. So what you say? Well, this is happening all in the same day! The only possible silver lining I can see in all this is volatility and "froth" are oft-times indicators of transition points. Soooo....today may be an indication of a transition from market bear to market bull. At least for a intermediate period of time.

As for WCOM....it, too, isn't doing too badly, although I hesitate in saying this because if any mischief is to occur it'll occur in the final hour. Let's see how it goes...
