After reading what management was up to, there is just way too much uncertainty for me to touch it. I know they have real assets and all that, but god knows what else management was up to. I think we are going to get a lot of very bad news about management behavior before this is all said and done.

Friends shouldn't let friends buy companies that don't pass the smell test.

IMO it might be interesting once the ADX signals extreme pessimism, although I won't be buying.

That would be a +DI reading below 10:

Speaking of excessively gloomy ADX readings, I see that HC is finally getting there:

stockcharts.com[e,a]dbclyyay[dc][pb50!d20,2!b200!c200!c20!c9!i!f][vc60][iut!Ue12,26,21!Ub13!Ud20!Lo13!Ll20!Lp20,9,5!Lah12,26,9!Lf!Lc20]&pref=G

Patience is the word.

Read in IBD Wednesday edition, some value mutual fund manager with a stellar long term record has been scooping up TYC since 20. Sorry don't remember the fund.

Allegedly.

Kb, did you guys ever decide to buy TYC?

<<To:Rory Heiner, from: kodiak_bull Wednesday, Jun 12, 2002 2:58 PM

Rory:
Concerning TYC, what do you think? Book value of 16, p/e of 3. Obviously institutions are dumping out of this and only value guys would buy, but most value guys would wait it out, don't you think?

I can read the chart on this patient, it says, "be patient."

Any feeling at all for what real earnings and prospects are likely to be after the smoke clears?

Any idea at all for a sum of the parts, break up valuation?>>
