But by who? Castro? The Russians? The Mob? The CIA? LBJ? It had to be internal, I think. The Russians, Castro, or the Mob might have had the capacity to do it without inside help, but they would not have had the capacity to cover it up so thoroughly. I have long believed that LBJ had prior knowledge, and may well have been in it up to his neck. The enhanced film footage makes it ridiculously obvious that the fatal shot came from the front. Whatever you think of Oliver Stone's hypothesis, he did the country a considerable service by putting that particular clip on screen for the world to see.

Reduced to rehashing conspiracy theories about the Kennedy assassination, I see. Talk about sinking to a new low. Personally, I'm convinced it was Professor Plum, with his Brownie, on the grassy knoll, but we will never know for sure.

My favorite JFK murder hypothesis is that Jackie had him bumped off. Consider: JFK was a notorious womanizer. Even while Jackie was with child in the early White House days, John was off dipping his wick in every actress who would offer him access. That had to piss off the little lady. Before JFK was killed, Jackie met Ari Onassis. Ari had lots of money and probably ties to people who could get something like that done. JFK gets blown away in what looked on film like a crossfire from front right and rear right (Oswald's location). Jackie later marries Ari, waits for him to die, and inherits lots and lots of money. Who knows if it's true, but it's more entertaining than the garden variety Castro did it or the mob did it theories.
