Having a local boxmaker must be handy for upgrading and stuff

I could never understand (at least for the last 10 years) why anyone would bother with a "white box boxmaker." It doesn't seem like it would be cost effective. It makes sense for hobbyists, but for a business? How can you beat Dell's low cost? So what if it costs and extra $100 bucks a box. Their tech support is unparalleled. Why spend your own labor screwing around with it?
