So you admit to your exaggeration. Good for you. Now maybe when you put on your "serious face", then you will try harder not to tell tall tales like your friend Dan3. Then we can discuss what the "critical mass" of applications really will be for the Itanium 2. Until then, try to get a firmer grasp on reality if you want to get that CIO position of yours.

Hardware and software gets upgraded all the time. Do you think all those companies using old UltraSPARCs will stick with that dead-end technology forever?
