Clinton killed the dream with his telecom corruption act. He played all sides against each other, and demanded they pay him. You are such a doofus for not seeing that.

Now, we got left about what we would normally have. There were some cuts, for sure.

Nasdaq needs to get to pre bubble level, or about it's low of 1999 before it can even be viewed as potentially healthy support.

You see, since 1999, the stock market has been a scam and every one knows it.

Except for those who are supposed to know, the COngress, who now needs to hold hearings on every suggestion of corporate wrongdoing.

IMCL needs Congressional hearings? This is a sad commentary on the state of my tax dollars.

-- well it's random lyrics time again:

If I Had a Rocket Launcher (4:59)
Bruce Cockburn
Stealing Fire (1984)
here comes the helicopter -- second time today
everybody scatters and hopes it goes away
how many kids they've murdered only god can say
if i had a rocket launcher...i'd make somebody pay.

i don't believe in guarded borders and i don't believe in hate
i don't believe in generals or their stinking torture states
and when i talk with the survivors of things too sickening to relate
if i had a rocket launcher...i would retaliate

on the rio lacantun one hundred thousand wait
to fall down from starvation -- or some less humane fate.
cry for guatemala, with a corpse in every gate
if i had a rocket launcher...i would not hesitate

i want to raise every voice -- at least i've got to try.
every time i think about it water rises to my eyes.
situation desperate echoes of the victims cry
if i had a rocket launcher...some sonofabitch would die

bia, You call me fool when you are stupid enough to post a link from some ignorant individual as if it were gospel. Take a remedial course in reading, and check out the newspapers. You must come from the East Side of I-35 in Austin.

Texas Senator Race Tightens

washingtonpost.com

This Congressional Quarterly article is quite strange in its bias.

"But Kirk is clearly running a strong campaign. A poll conducted by the independent polling firm Montgomery & Associates in May showed Cornyn with support from 46 percent of the sample, while Kirk had 44 percent."

While Cornyn's lead has been diminishing lately, the author somehow says that he's got a commanding 2% lead. Impressive, isn't it? <g>

Looks like the Bushman will be spending a lot of time in Texas this fall......covering his backside.
