There are fatwahs and there are fatwahs.

I was thinking of the kind of fatwah issued by the late Ayatollah Khomeini ---- the fatwah which is irrevocable and a huge sum of money is payable to the bounty-hunter.

That fatwah got Salman Rushdie so scared that it's been alleged he remains in hiding despite having undergone plastic surgery to change his appearance. And he didn't even say that Mohammed was a disgusting pedophile.
