Oh, dear me... all that guy needs is a good car chase and his drama is complete:

...He vividly imagined a "new epoch of spirit and faith" in which all of us would live in the "majestic cumulative power, truth, and transcendence of contemporary science and wealth."

He shoulda worn spandex -g-

Oh holy king of the net search. I have been trying all day to find the article about how Greenspan at some lunch with a friend who is now a reporter and before AG was the Fed Head stated that he thought that the Depression was due to a too tight monetary policy and he thought that when the K-wave next came due, he would be able to inject so much liquidity he would be able to delay the crash and depression. He then later admits that it would only delay it and it would crash anyway.

I have searched Google, the NY Times, Washington post and even our site where I was sure it was posted and can't find it. Any Idea or do you have a copy?

TIA and Good Luck,

Lee
