There has been very little net outflow as yet from mutual funds considering the horrible market action. There is a HUGE AMOUNT OF SUCH LIQUIDATION yet to come before this bear is over. And mutual funds still have very low cash positions on balance. Look back at the 1970s to get an idea of the possible dimension of future equity mutual fund liquidations.
