Here's some numbers out of the budget 2002 material from the German federal ministry of finance (as of Nov 2001) bundesfinanzministerium.de BIP (aka GNP) 1.968 Beuro(in prices of 1995) Employed 38,70 Million per capita 50.866 euro ... Total debt 1.250 B euro as %BIP 58% (57/100 federation, 25/100 Laender west, 5/100 east ...) per empl debt 30.465 euro debt service 2002 158 B euro per Kapita service 4.028 euro Note 58% is below the Maastricht red-light limit of 60%. The actual numbers are yet to be determined.
