Thanks Dolinar, from fist look Germany is not better of than the US as related to GDP / Debt and budget deficit.

On the other hand unemployment is 50% higher than in the US, Germany GDP growth and productivity is half of the US and only the trade deficit stays in the way.

With the slow recovery I am sure they will cross the 60% Maastricht red-light limit, as the anticipate recovery was around 2.5% for 2002

BTW auf welche seite sind die ergebnise ? Tabelle 16? ...... thanks for the link ...... unfortunate even that German is my mother language it is difficult for me to deciper the German financial definitions
