I am not up to speed on specific income levels and such should the Cleveland voucher case prevail on appeal. There are numerous problems with the voucher program, as I have written before. Would you, for instance, be in favor of using public tax money to educate inner-city children at a school run by ultra-right-wing Islamic fundamentalists who preach love for Islam and hate for America? Why would such a school be any different, in terms of voucher money eligibility, than, say, the local Catholic or Lutheran school? And before you dismiss such as fiction ... the hypothetical that I described is happening for real today in the Netherlands.
