Dear Ray: Thank God, they got some COMMON SENSE in the MidWest unlike Calif. I support Ohio State University and their policy. This was a graduation ceremony not a sit in by Peaceniks. AMERICANS are sick of that BULLSHIT, learn before its TOO LATE. JDN

Dissent is being suppressed in a most un-democratic fashion.

Where have you been Raybo? Dissent has been suppressed by the PC left at our universities for quite a while now....

Ray, if everyone is sitting and people stand up to turn their backs, they are blocking the view of those behind, who are perfectly entitled to see and listen to proceedings without others stopping them. That's disruptive and aggressive. It's reasonable to remove people for doing that.

If they wanted to protest, they could have all agreed to bow their heads in unison. That would not disrupt proceedings but would still show the level of support for their point of view, without blocking other people's points of view.

Maybe I've misunderstood what happened, as I'm just on a flying visit here.... <When the moment arrived, he stood and turned his back on Bush. Before he could assess how many others around him were doing the same, he was hustled out of the stadium by a Columbus police officer and a Secret Service agent. >
