tom. your last post said. ..." I said:
They have genuine complaints about these illegitimate governments

You said:

Are you saying that dictatorships like saddam/iraq are legitimate governments

You've been sniffing glue again, haven't you?

Tom I am only replying so that I may help you understand what it is you think you are trying to say.

Now here is what you really said......" Conveniently misleading. Islam is only (or best) outlet people have in these societies to vent their criticism of the government. They have genuine complaints about these illegitimate governments that we install and/or prop up.".....

To which I replied...." Are you saying that dictatorships like saddam/iraq are legitimate governments ".....
----------------------------------------------
Let me try this from another angle. When an islamic dictatorship has come to power..usually through the use of force... are you suggesting that this is the kind of government that the majority of the people in that country want?

And when you say...." Islam is only (or best) outlet people have in these societies to vent their criticism of the government."....

Does this mean that you feel that citizens of an islamic dictatorship ( or government ) can " vent their criticism of the government." freely as we do over here in the west?
