Yes, I think it shows a kind of detachment which could also lead to third party candidacy.

And then we have the theory that there was no Deep Throat- -that that was a fiction invented by Woodward and Bernstein to cover their own detective work. Or that Deep Throat was a melange of numerous sources in the Nixon administration who were disgusted by what they saw.
