VIX: 0-100

I presume you mean the stochastic (or other oscillator) of VIX.

I use a weekly measure.

Your VIX call was absolutely correct. Not perfect, but correct.

Bear Market: VIX Stoch<20 = Bullish/Complacent

There was a whiplash, so what nothing is perfect, if you followed it after that it would have proved correct (sorry-profitable).

Unless you get a VIX spike - the absolute level of VIX is pretty meaningless.

My (VIX) reading now is that we are bearish.
Enough to rally? Yes, but without a "flush-out" VIX spike, or a prolonged o/bought reading, I will wait for the market to prove me right/wrong. Methinks we still head down!

$VIX stoch (k/d)= 70.44/60.29
