really! Oh great then! I used to know the msft product suite when they had visual interdev and then they rebundled everything with .net.

Well if msft doesn't get busy on an app server then they are out of the loop for any meaningful enterprise app development- I mean the whole reason to use msft at all is because its a one-stop-shop and if you have to incorporate weblogic (bea) then why bother? I think msft is falling behind in this app server area... but open for alternative pov's.

Great quarter for Oracle- I know a lot of software people are breathing a sigh of relief tonight over this.

I believe that this is correct (that .NET is not being pushed hard at the moment), but MSFT is still very committed to it.
