The economic impact outside of California can't be overstated due to this crisis.

Good, let's see what comes from all their sorting out of all the bits and pieces that are "coming out of the closet" as you say...

Let's remember not to convict someone on emotions, this is a deadly mistake, you can hang the wrong person and the guilty individual gets away with the crime...

Before Ted Bundy was discovered and caught here in Florida, the local police had the wrong guy in custody and even they wouldn't see it that way... the guy looked mean and the public was anxious to find the serial murderer, everyone was ready to hang this innocent fellow just to feel safe... the only problem was there was no evidence even to hold this guy, he was released and the public was outraged... this fellow had to flee town to avoid being lynched in the street... Ted Bundy was caught and you already know the rest of the story (no, I'm not Paul Harvey) but my point is made, let's wait and see what the evidence shows, jumping the gun is ill advised... if the evidence is there, then it won't go away... if there's no evidence, then let the guy alone without beating him up and lynching him with every post without any evidence to support your lynching.....

I was a State Officer, not a prosecutor, but an agent of the State... a good investigation is methodical, deliberate, and without emotion... follow the evidence, and if there's no evidence, then there's nothing to follow and there's no case.....
