To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To right the unrightable wrong
To love, pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest
To follow that star
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far
To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into hell
For that heavenly cause

And I know
If I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart
Will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star

The Effect Of Motivation On Perception. I've referred to that, the title of Chap 1 in my Psych 101 text in college, often, using the initials, so I figured the context would explain it.

Well, s^!t, Karen, instead of whining endlessly about "outside agitators" and the arrival of so-and-so starting a fight, why don't you start a moderated thread and ban all the troublemakers? And you can put me at the head of the list.

At this point, I'm convinced that the only thing that can end this fight is to separate the combatants.

Which may not be possible. Have you noticed that in spite of everyone's claims that they are tired of this war and want it to end, they refuse to stay away from it? Actions speak louder than words.
