The gloom of this thread is evidence of your cognizance of facts, namely, "all bleeding stops," and everywhere as here in my native USA, "the leading cause of death in the US is life." Smile! It was said to the king of ages past who asked of a sage for something, some fact or piece of wisdom that would be true for all time. The answer was, "And this too shall pass." Good to get up in the morning and find our own oracles, one from HK, Jay, the other from NZ, Maurice, hard at the great debates for the day. Good morning, you two sparring intellects...Mq, please remember what happened to us who believed in Bernie Schwartz at Loral and his farce Globalstar. S**t happens.
Me, I am part English, Irish, German...and definitely Aztec. We love ya Mq, even though many of us feel you are in great danger.

I waded full into Au this morning. Am up 6% on the day. So what's new...

I think, Jay, we saw and experienced our share of the beauty of this world - remember falcons darting through the morning sun beams - Fact is tho, nobody but everyone for him and herself can (and must) face the destiny. What other ways to handle the unavoidable? Oh, the tragedy of our existence ... So - no, dont bind my eyes, I want to face the execution squad with my eyes open wide.

...Said Walter Mitty inside his head and followed his wife downstairs to the cab waiting for them...

re >>The gloom on this recovery thread is getting thick and heavy.<< ... just got an idea(*) - why not start a contest of the same name? like "The gloom was getting thick and heavy"

I think we are all naturals in this medium, but with some extra drive we could get to new heights... Imagine Joel switching to the sunny side of ACF avenue. Maurice going single-line. DAK pouring out his heart in flowing, exalted odes to AG... Baldur starting on investment haikus ... Raymond on 1929. CB...

It's mind-boggling. Possibilities are endless

PPS: I would just read and silently enjoy. And Jay would take it all, as IS (g)
