Should the Palestinians simply lie there and take it? Remember, Israel started the cycle of violence in a concerted effort to destroy the peace process.

"Amein, is the Palestinians' plight a justification to do this sort of thing?"

Original Mad Dog, you are asking a very tough question... one that any answer I give in response, will probably be wrong. And here is why. You see, I do not advocate any actions that result in the loss of life of anyone.

one can never really understand the anger inside someone else without having been in the exact same situation... I have never been in any remotely similar situation, so I do not know... but, obviously it is to them.

let me give you an analogy closer to home... I don't know if you are white, black, Asian, Hispanic or ... but let's say you are not African American, can you with all honesty say that you know exactly how an African American feels, or thinks in a predominantly white society... ? if you are not African American, and your answer is yes, I am afraid that I have to say that you are completely wrong. Think about it for a while.

Same thing goes for the Palestinians... the world does not really know how they feel... on top of that, the UN carved their homeland in 1917 ( domino.un.org!OpenDocument ) and gave it to European Jews and supported the migrating European Jews all the way and is refusing to acknowledge their most basic of rights... now you tell me, can you honestly say that you understand how they feel... and can you answer the question you postulated ?

Should the Palestinians lie there and take it? What alternative do the Palestinians have?
