Zeev, There's no point in arguing the historical significance of who thought they owned what during which time. Let's just agree to disagree on this matter and let it rest. And by the way, are the Israelis flawless? I know the Arabs aren't.

And Russia will get Alaska back. After all that deal was crooked, a case of war. Imagine that, let's say Lincoln, for arguments sake, had sold Alaska back for the same fifth billion $ (gold), for his war effort. He would have been impreached, hanged and USA would have started a war to get Alaska back... without returning the gold, ever.
