"a cash burn of $3 billion in two years and a stock in the teens. I would say that's getting very close to the throat."

That's mild compared to what they're going thru now, isn't it? Poor INTC, poised to fall off the cliff!!!

AMDs's death is greatly exaggerated..........by the INTC longs. And its not INTC's boot that's getting bloodied..........a cash burn of $3 billion in two years and a stock in the teens. I would say that's getting very close to the throat.

Ted, I'm happy for you. Most people would be depressed by their company preannouncing a ~$200 Million loss but you manage to see the bright side there because AMD has caused Intel a problem. I guess it was all worth it. You are a charter member of the AMDroid hall of flame.

Ted,

re: a cash burn of $3 billion in two years and a stock in the teens.

Acquired a lot of (admittedly worthless) companies with cash in that period. Also, I show a INTC close of $20.09, that's not usually considered "the teens".
