No way. Apparently 100M of assets acquired to start their web-hosting business is worthless. Or maybe 80M of assets and 20M of shutdown expenses. How much did Intel spend acquiring this stuff? It could even be that the writedown hasn't even been figured out yet and this is just shutdown costs like severance pay, etc.

Semiconductor stocks were a sea of red following the warning. AMD's archrival Intel, which suffered the double whammy of announcing it would have to take a $ 100 million charge to cover the costs of winding down its Intel Online Services unit, fell $1.93 to $20.09...
