I was a first time buyer at one time and there was a time when I knew nothing about it as well but I didn't depend on a broker to tell me that they represented the seller. Don't you think first time buyers should read about real estate before buying their first house? This was my main point, people need to take just a little initiative if they are going to go about making a purchase of that size. They should at least read something or get some sort of objective advice from a disinterested party. Didn't you do that before buying your first home or did you just jump in blind and hope for the best?
