<I was a first time buyer at one time and there was a time when I knew nothing about it as well but I didn't depend on a broker to tell me that they represented the seller. >

Me neither... your stuff about hermits is over the top as usual... all I'm saying is you want to buy... you call a broker and he/she shows you all this land, homes, whatever and never says a damn thing about which listing is his/hers [or that ALL she showed YOU were] until you sit down and sign papers....

< They should at least read something or get some sort of objective advice from a disinterested party. Didn't you do that before buying your first home or did you just jump in blind and hope for the best? >

Whaaaa? Did I go get a 'buyers broker'?? No. Did I hire "comps for you"? No. Did I knock on doors in the neighborhood and ask all about the area? No. Did I do all sorts of legwork [probably like you] that most people DONT do?? Yes.

The fact is some realtors are real good and some suck, over time you get to know whats what IMO.
