Party, sounds like some classic death-spiral and floorless convertible debenture horror stories.

This was very common in the 90's, especially in Pennyland and it's not really a suprise that so many large firms are being named as defendants, even today. Many of us took quite a few losses in the late 90's until we realized what was going on. Finally the word of these finacing traps got out and most companies and investors got wise to it.

I hope everybody reads your link on the death-spiral lawsuits. Excellent post and reminder of how some got very rich using this manipulative practice. Maybe some are hearing about this for the first time. If so, you might be rather shocked.
