Original Mad Dog, I did not mean to set up a moral construct for channeling ones rage... not by any means.

If my say has any weight in all this, I would say just persevere for another 20 years or so and Jews will become a minority outnumbered by Palestinians... use the time for education and progress... that is the channeling of energy I would advise anyone to pursue...

what feeds into the problem is that if you look at many UN resolutions, you will see that the whole world, at different occasions, said something, and Israel and the United States, only the United States vetoed it... and Israel has always annexed land from neighboring areas...

so, what has been going on, is Might is right... or at least that is the message many Palestinians grew up with... add to that that some people make A LOT of money from the conflict... make no mistake, many people around the world make money from this conflict and they help ignite the flame every time there is a possibility of some kind of truce...

this is the world as we live in today... economics rule... and some smart people will always exploit less smart ones to their benefit and gain... even if it meant someone's life... that is the cruel and harsh reality of life...

in conclusion OMD, now the world took notice of the Palestinian problem and their plight... I think the best they can do is to persevere for a negotiated settlement... but like I said earlier... not much money is made that way... and some Israelis do not want that either... then there will be no pretext to destroying people's houses, and going over their cars with tanks.

regards
amein

Your post may appear to be neutral to the naive, but it is laced with Israeli bias. One simple example is that you keep harping on the suicide bombings. Those are a very new phenomenon. What about the pre-suicide-bombing period? What about less than two years ago, when these attacks were not happening, and Ariel Sharon laid a claim to the holy Muslim sight, and then proceeded to have his troops fire into a crowd of protesters?

Bear in mind that any "negotiations" that do occur between Israel and the Palestinians are a negotiation of how much Israel can avoid obeying international law, which clearly states that Israel should leave the West Bank, Gaza, and Jerusalem.
