The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that Sharon busted up Arafat's infrastructure knowing that bombings would continue after the IDF pulled out and then he could demonize him for not doing enough..

BTW, is it really about "security" or is it about needing the water from the West Bank that waters Isra-Elis lawns?

If the State of Palestine were ever to come to fruitation, they would not be obligated to supply Isra-El with the water under their feet. Of course, Isra-El will try to make that a bargaining point, to no avail.
