Cool thanks John.

Let me know if you see these errors again and how often.

John, Its really ok to reply to me that Silicon Investor's
current technical resource personnal is at a level that
only allows keeping the web site up and running so that
members can post and read.
.
Meaning that non critical problems, and maintenance of threads,
are areas that can be noted and recorded, but action at the present time
can not be allocated.
.
ok,
But please inform those members like myself of this condition,
so that for example this re-posting, will not take up more time
both by me and you in reading it. But then if the lawyers have
given advice that silence is the best action, then your non reply
to this post will speak that message. Or in similiar fachion you
may give me another "It will be taken care of if you..." as showned below.
.
My take on the situation is to hope that things do not go downhill
any more than already, and if so, hold steady with what we now have
and hope for better times, which seem unlikely with the DOW and Nasdaq
having a trend to go lower and lower and reduce trading by more folks.
.
If so then no need for you to re-read my recent post to you, copied below.
.

Hello,
We are not able to do this.
I can change all of the needed information.
If you'll write back with a new header I can update that
as well as the symbol and title if need be......Jeff

Sure would be nice and actually good for Silicon Investor
if ownership of threads that have no active member be transfered
to members posting on that thread so that when people who visit
just for a read see a profession job being done rather than junk.
Before folks give up money for a membership they would want
to see that the folks there already are doing a good job, and the
first view visitors get is the thread header and stock symbols,
of which in my experience, about 5 threads have junk displayed.
.
First I would like to make another comment about asking
for Silicon Investor's help. Two years ago I created my Silicon Investor
e-mail profile of username/password. From day 1 I was never able
to access my Silicon Investor e-mail feature to read my mail.
Upon asking for it to be looked into by a Silicon Investor personnal
obtaining my password/username from your side and sending me
that information, I was told that it was a "black box" and no one was
able to obtain that information. Now two years later I sent the web site
that records itself as the place where you have Silicon Investor's mail
handled, and I asked to receive my username/password, and so far
no reply from them. I'am not able to create a second e-mail account
since I already have a working one. Amazing that my username/password
that I submitted upon creation will not work, and I have tried every possible
combinations of lower/upper case and by chance I most likely typed in
a character different than I thought, so what I wrote on paper was
most likely not what my fingers typed in. But maybe the software
that received my typing placed another person's username/password
into my locations, as might be the case since when I try to access
that Help/Reminder Hint using my e-mail username displayed on the
bottom of the screen I get "invalid" username. Golly, all it would take
is to have my username/password e-mail accessed and sent to me.
So easy, and that "black box" answer to folks like me that has a wide
and deep computer programming ability does not hold water.

hey john

it's really okay to reply to me ,too.

in fact, i would appreciate it.

is si planning on fixing the search engine?

and if i'm asking the wrong guy, be so kind as to tell me who the right one is?

scott lux used to field questions like a champ. he pretty much stood out from the crowd in that regard.

see what you can do

:)
