Sure Bill.....

Dell is taking share from other players. Larry Ellison made his numbers too and then guided lower and said there is no rebound this year. Just because Dell is saying they are maintaining guidance doesn't mean that they won't lower it later, that they'll make top line or won't see pressure on margins or will be able to raise guidance and it doesn't mean a thing for other companies.

Would I take solace in the fact that my neighbor's son is getting A's in calculus if none of the other kids in class get it and say all is well in the math department let alone the foreign language and science departments or the entire school for that matter just because one kid says he's doing great in Calculus?

For that matter, what good would it be if he were to get A's and not get any reward? What if he brought his report card home and his parents tore it up and said that's just not good enough!?
