Hi ChinuSFO Kaaba is a simple room structure. it is not a stone. it has a stone in one of its corners. it was built by the Prophet Ibraheem and was renovated over time. Going around it was a tradition since way before Islam. When Islam came, only the direction of walking changed. I will try to find you a website with more accurate information than what you posted.
