Re: "The State of Israel will eventually be nuked by freedom fighters. I, for one, will cheer".

You must consider the possibility that the USA may be "nuked" by the same "freedom fighter". The millions of muslims who celebrated on September 11 will "cheer" again.

tcm: I guess you haven't spent much time in the Bible. The Israelis or Jews are just trying to recover what God gave them. Check out the original boundaries. The present day Israelis are being very temperate. All of the mid EAST really little in the way of historical boundaries as presently configured save for those boundaries drawn up after WWI and WWII by the winners. But the Israelites have a long standing prior claim.

Thanks for the patronizing moralizing but I will save those conversations for those people who have a clue about history beyond what they read in the op-ed pages.

Other than sticking close to our ally Israel I think we should tread carefully in the shifting sands of Arabic politics because all is never what it seems to be. Basically the Arabs hate us.

If you keep your pud out of the nether eye aids will recede.

Guess what everyone is going to die and I don't fear that I just am somewhat bewildered by the market at present. Of course neither one can be controlled but the market does have a bearing on how as a retired guy I get to live the rest of my live. Or maybe I should move to Bolivia and feel the pain.

Nukes between India and Pakistan is a non-starter. Would you drop a 500 pound bomb on your next door neighbor's house. Probably not unless you didn't like yours either.

As far as the market is concerned good luck to all those that choose to remain long.

JFD

Hmmm. I don't know what planet you've been living on, Tim, but for us earthlings, it's an issue!

Tim, <India and Pakistan will probably whack each other with nukes. So? Not my problem.>

If there's one thing I don't agree with the ultra-right, it's the fantasy of isolationism.

Darwinism is a terribly inhuman philosophy to live by, or even resign yourself to.
