Well I don't know, These were questions that arose in my mind and of course were not addressed in the movie.. But IMO, a traumatic psychological event, such as knowing your father was to be executed someday, could lead to, or exacerbate a latent condition.. The main point I wanted to bring out was the ripple effect the death penalty has in the direction of the executed.. A direction I never hear or read much about.. Dual tragic directions, The first direction being started by the "to be executed", of course, and the other being the one I am talking about.. Maybe we can stop the second, by stopping executions..
