As a Mensan, I tend to believe your argument is weak. I don't see how learning history and understanding that governments have frequently engaged in self-destruction in order to terrorize their populations in anyway precludes the possibility on 9/11. I merely speculate on these things, because our government has been extremely recalcitrant to allow an independent investigation into what went wrong on 9/11. This ought to be a huge red flag for any thinking investigator. A list of episodes where governments purposefully attacked itself, or allowed others to do so in order to foment government reaction include a long list of encounters. There were a number of such incidents in the various Indian Wars fought in the 18th and 19th Centuries. The Sinking of the Maine, in Havana's harbor has never been shown to not be a ruse by U.S. agents to foment the Spanish American War. The attack on Pearl Harbor is widely considered to have been well known to the highest levels of the U.S. government without any effort made to forestall the attack, in order to make an isolationist population accept the necessity to enter the war. Operation Northwoods has been spoke of earlier on this thread. Clearly Operation 911 has many of the characteristics of this DoD planning document. On foreign shores, it is fairly well decided that the Reichstag Fire of February, 1933 was set by the Hitler regime, intent on blaming its political enemies and using the ruse to solidify power, eliminate enemies and terrorize the public. Until we have an independent investigation into the events surrounding 9/11, the government must necessarily be considered as being "suspect". They are doing way too much in the way of attempting to cover-up, for there not to be some damaging information they are trying to hide. The nature of this information is unknown to me. All I try to do is ask and answer questions the best I can. unansweredquestions.org That doesn't seem to me to be anything but good for the nation's mental health. -Ray
