True.. Even if we do all af the above we will still be dependent upon imported oil for at least the next 10 years.

Actually we have enough shale oil to last for hundreds of years and, I believe, the technology to convert it...I'm not sure we have the will. It would be expensive and a huge commitment of financial resources.

Not so sure about Sadam...This is a monster who has mass gassed his own people. It is difficult to afford him human qualities, particularly, as he is developing weapons of mass destruction and a means for delivery.
