RD, the Bushistas can kid themselves all they want. But, deep down they understand what an undeniable joke this administration is. FBI & CIA are running around like chickens without any heads, Ashcroft is clearly the worst AG since Mitchell, 18 months into office and they can't even make a nomination for anyone to head FDA, Rummy gets lots of laughs at his news conferences, but, where's the beef? He blew the crap out of the Taliban and let Bin Laden & Co. escape(uh, Rummy...it was AQ we were really after wasn't it?), Texas cronies at Enron lining up for jail cells, O'Neil is the least influential SoT in memory, they propose a new department of homeland security, but, aside from controlling certain insects it is nothing but another layer on top of FBI, CIA, NSA. Cheney lives in a bunker while Bush spends most of his time wandering that dust patch he calls a ranch. From top to bottom it is a joke. Dow is approaching 9000 today, reality will start to set in soon as the "recovery" stalls. If only major league baseball had done the right thing and made an offer to Bush to become Commish. How much suffering it would have saved this country and the world!
