> I think the bottom will be marked more by lack of interest than great panic. After so many stocks lost 99%, what is there to panic about? I have not made a single transaction in a couple of weeks.<

I could not disagree more. There are still numerous investors long on margin. They have to be wiped out. Then over confident shorts will be caught the same way on the upward surge.

You see the situation you are describing would correspond with only with a short term bottom and that would not be the bottom at all.

As for my theory I remain convinced that we will see a high volume reversal day. Fear will be tagged by a rise in the VIX above 50. Until I see that I will day trade only in my trading account with a preference towards the short side of trading. I tend to keep things as simple as possible. The strength of weakness of the dollar is of little importance to me compared to volume and the VIX.

Sarmad, >since my cash is exhausted, there is nothing to do. I expect millions of people are in this same position.<

Yep. Makes lots of sense to me.

I'm in the same position and just watching now.
