Jeffrey S. Mitchell........True.....

I also saw a Brazilian team that was relaxed and appeared to just
come to the game to kick the ball around.

As against Senegal it appeared the only Turkish player who had any
desire to shoot was #17 Ilhan Manzis. Why didn't he start?......(rhetorical)

When Ronaldo came out it was another indication that Brazil didn't take this
game so seriously.

My comments on the two semi games:

I think the Koreans' gas tank was near empty. One central defender out, the other one did not last an hour. Again, just one mistake and Ballack made them pay. Again, to me, Germany again did not show anything to me worthy of raising the World Cup trophy. Ballack's yellow card was one of the most deserving yellow cards I have seen in this WC. That Cha kid has a long way to go to be like his dad. Ahn did not have more than thirty minutes left. Again, a heroic performance by the Koreans in this tournament, what they did was truly legendary and will remembered for centuries.

Brazil was way too casual on offense repeatedly firing blanks after they scored the goal when Turkey went all out. The little ball should have punished them but, hey, let's give some credit to their defense, after Owen's goal they have done a remarkable job. Scolari's choices for Ronaldino's replacement and the subs he brought on were truly atrocious. Even more atrocious were the choices of the Turkish coach to keep this Sukar ghost in there for the whole game and keep the Golden Goal scorer magnificent kid so long on the bench and then bring him to replace on their best players Emer instead of Sukar...wow, what an overrated player that guy is, not only that, he ripped his teammates too for their performance against Senegal when he stunk up the joint, Yikes.
Another brilliant Brazilian goal, that shot on the run looking down is one of my favourites shots which I used when I was playing, too bad you don't see it too much lately, it is not the power behind it but just the element of surprise which can totally rattle goalies..., wow.

Prediction for Final:

Brazil-Germany 3-1

I don't see how the Germans can beat them, this German team went way to far than it should have, it reminds me the 1990 Argentina team which clawed its way into the final
